International Day of Prayer 🙏
Every November, hundreds of thousands of believers across the world join together in prayer for Christians who experience persecution because of their faith in Jesus Christ.
This year, the need for prayer seems even more urgent as we witness the challenges faced by Afghani Christians, along with millions of other Christians around the world. The stories we’re receiving daily from our brothers and sisters living where faith costs the most are clear: your prayers make a difference, helping them stay as a light in the darkness in the toughest places.
Sunday, November 7, 2021, is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Inspired by Hebrews 12:28, this year’s theme is Unshakeable Faith. The countries that we will be particularly focused on praying for are Afghanistan, Algeria, Cuba, and India.

I've been deeply impacted by the work of Open Doors Canada, and the stories of the people they serve, in some of the toughest places on earth to be a follower of Jesus. My prayer is that the Canadian church will stand, like never before, with believers from over 130 countries around the world, as we remember and intercede for our persecuted family.
